Police have been made aware that a group of young people have recently gained access to a building in Garstang town which is intended for community use and social activities. 

While this may be viewed as harmless by some, entering buildings without permission is unacceptable and can place individuals at risk of injury, as well as cause damage or disruption to the premises.

If you are the parent or guardian of a teenager who regularly spends time in Garstang, we would ask that you have a conversation with them about respecting private property and making sensible choices when out with friends.

We appreciate the support of parents and the wider community in helping to keep our town safe and ensuring community facilities remain available for everyone to enjoy.
